Change

Change is inevitable. Management change through change of leaders in an organization. It is very true that everyone wants to leave a mark to the organization when he is given the chance to lead it. Is it everyone? May be it is all. Some new leaders want to continue doing what the previous leader has done with minimal change.

Change management is about dealing with new directions and strategies to bring forward an organization. A person who has been in a company will have seen many changes which are done. Surely there must be some principles that must be adhered to when initiating change. Examples include:
1, Change not for the sake of change
2, Change because of the competitive pressures, economic, or political changes
3, Change that are long term and lasting, not short term.
4, Change that bring about societal benefits, especially those that can create cultural and attitude improvements that will resolve and solve social, political and economic problems.

Just my thoughts. Welcome comments from you guys...... New year both hijrah 1431H and AD 2010. One obvious change is getting nearer to death or the grave. Malay proverb 'Rumah kata pergi , kubur kata mari' (House chasing you out, grave calling you). So, change to be more pious and God (I mean ALLAH) fearing Muslim and Mukmin.
